Rob Paddock, one of the founding forces of GetSmarter, joins us in this episode of the Entrepreneur on the Grow podcast series. Rob tells Jared about his entrepreneurial journey, as he grew GetSmarter into a locally-based company with global impact. In 2017, as a team of over 300 employees, GetSmarter was acquired by educational powerhouse and Nasdaq listed company, 2U, for over $100 million. Rob shares his lessons and experiences, talks about his next exciting venture in the online education space, and leaves us with his personal tips for starting and scaling a business in South Africa.
